"Daily Mail claims Israeli spies tipped off MI6 before assassinating Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai.
Israel - Haaretz Service - 19/02/2010 - Israeli agents tipped off British intelligence that they were going to carry out an 'overseas operation' using fake British passports before assassinating a Hamas official in Dubai, the Daily Mail reported on Friday.
A Mossad operative said the U.K. Foreign Office was also told hours before Mahmoud al-Mabhouh was murdered in his hotel room by a hit squad the had entered the United Arab Emirates using fake foreign documents, the British newspaper said.
The tip-off did not say who the target would be or even where the hit squad would be in action. A British security source who met the Mossad agent was quoted by the Mail as saying:
"This is a serving member of Israeli intelligence. He says the British Government was told very, very briefly before the operation what was going to happen."
The source added: "There was no British involvement and they didn't know the name of the target. But they were told these people were travelling on UK passports."
According to the paper's source, the tip-off was not a request for permission to use British passports but more a "courtesy call" to let the security services know "a situation" might result from the operation.
The Mossad man said Israeli intelligence chiefs understood British authorities would have to "slap them on the wrist" and added:
"The British government has to be seen to be going through the motions."
U.K. officials had said previously they knew nothing of the affair until shortly before the Dubai authorities released details of the assassination earlier this week.
Britain, which on Thursday summoned Israeli Ambassador Ron Prosor to 'clarify' the affair, could now face claims it condoned on extra-judicial killing.
A Foreign Office spokesman insisted last night it was "not correct" to claim that Britain knew in advance about the passports, the Mail said.
He said: "We received the details of the British passports a few hours before the press conference [by police in Dubai].
We were able to respond to the Dubai authorities on the authenticity of the passports the next day." - [end item]

WHY DO ALL PROPAGANDA MEDIA SHOW MOSSAD 'BLUNDER'?
"Netanyahu lauded Israeli agents who do Israel's 'secret work." - New York Times, Oct. 7, 1997*
February 18th 2010 - It's quite an enigma, isn't it? But of course one should ask: why do all the major media in the world - which the war profiteers own for 96%* - broadcast all the time the Dubai CCTV-camera pictures, showing the Mossad suspects in the Dubai killing of the Hamas political party's military commander, Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, who was murdered in his hotel room on Jan 20? Do they think they're above the law? Like their Masters? Some kind of show of - misplaced - confidence?
"Britain will consider severing its intelligence-sharing agreement with Israel if Mossad agents are proved to have stolen the identities of British passport holders." According to The Daily Telegraph (UK).* But the selected - not chosen - prime minister and the cartel's franchiser in England, Gordon Brown, will never ever be able to stop cooperating with the Mossad. It's impossible for Brown to give such orders.
He - like all others, including the 'front man' in the White 'Haus' Obama, takes orders. Nothing else. They all, those greedy, cowardly middlemen and collaborators in every country the global cartel runs, have as long as they are able to remember done it, and profited many times too. And those who opposed this are dead, or 'neutralized' in any other way. Politicians, media and everybody who's in the way of their bloodstained power and wealth.
So: is it sheer and dumb arrogance of the present day murderous clique of 'secret service' women and man? Showing: this is the way we do it, and we really don't care anymore, because we have the power of the criminal cartel covering us? Like the cooperating CIA spooks in Italy, even paying their bills with their own credit cards?*
It still makes one wonder why the CCTV-videos are shown all the time. What's up?
Knowing that within the criminal banking - and otherwise controlling - cartel, everybody cooperates. All the so called secret services too. It really is their Matrix, their road to the hegemonic pipe-dream, the global and criminal usury corporation. So it really doesn't matter whether it's CIA, Mossad, NSA, the NED, MI5 or MI6, special forces or whatever. Like the power over the armies etc. They've been usurped a long time ago.
The cartel's robbing, killing and plundering thieves think they 'own' the world as some kind of jewelry shop, and those money madmen 'run' what they see as a world asylum. "Slaves, power and profit." THE CIA'S JACKALS
This is for instance one way it's done by the BIS* subservient World Bank and IMF's economical killers: 'The Jackals' and 'hit men', were years ago already perfectly described in "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" by John Perkins, a former respected member of the international banking community. He is one of the people who after decades has decided that 'he can't take it anymore': "How the U.S. Uses Globalization to Cheat Poor Countries Out of Trillions."
In his book Perkins describes how he as a highly paid professional, helped the U.S. cheat poor countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars by lending them more money than they could possibly repay and then take over their economies. Like they always have done and still manage to do.
Perkins: "When the economic 'hit men' fail in this scenario, the next step is what we call the jackals. Jackals are C.I.A.-sanctioned people that come in and try to foment a coup or revolution. If that doesn't work, they perform assassinations. or try to.
In the case of Iraq, they weren't able to get through to Saddam Hussein. His bodyguards were too good. He had doubles. They couldn't get through to him. So the third line of defense, if the economic hit men and the jackals fail, the next line of defense is our young men and women, who are sent in to die and kill, which is what we've obviously done in Iraq."

IT IS A GLOBAL DISASTER
One has to look at it globally, because, as said, it's one global firm spreading this web of debt and deceit, the controlling and criminal cartel which holds the strings.* Also of the so called 'secret service spooks' all over the world. They kill and make people suffer by the millions for more power and profit of the humanoids ordering them around. Keep in mind that if the cartel which is running the joint wants people to see something, there's always a meaning behind it.
Nothing gets published without a cause. There must be a reason for doing this.

Even when Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu is caught red-handed ordering the murder of Arab leader Khaled Mashaal in Jordan, the U.S. media will not describe it as a terrorist act, but rather part of the "fight against terrorism."

This is how Netanyahu's spin-doctor, "image advisor" Arthur Finkelstein wants the American news agencies to report the attempted assassination and U.S. media executives have complied. It's not just presidents who must kiss Jewish posteriors. The Fourth Estate's fearless feature-writers must pucker up too. Anyhow: this is how Finkelstein apparently wants it, like the last time: "Netanyahu Defiantly Defending Botched Assassination Attempt," which was written by nobody else than Serge Schmemann in - of course - The New York Times: "Jerusalem, October 6, 1997 — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today defended the costly Israeli assassination attempt against a Hamas leader as a setback in a ''just and vital fight'' against terrorism, making no apology and defiantly vowing to carry on.
Mr. Netanyahu made his first public statement on the affair several hours after the founder and icon of the Islamic movement Hamas, Sheik Ahmed Yassin, was flown by helicopter to an ecstatic welcome from his followers in the Gaza Strip, and after another helicopter brought back two agents of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad whose botched attempt in Jordan to kill the political leader of Hamas, Khaled Meshal, set off the crisis.
The Jordanian announcement of the release was the first official identification of the assailants as ''two Israeli agents carrying forged Canadian passports who carried out the attack on the life of Khaled Meshal.'' Previously, only press accounts had said the attack was an Israeli operation.

So, Gordon Brown's "British threat to Israel over Dubai Hamas assassination" is just another lie, one more faked 'threat' message by the 'english' PM on his string of lies: "Telegraph (UK) 18 Feb 2010 - Ministers are understood to be furious that an alleged hit squad which murdered a Hamas leader in Dubai last month cloned the passports of six unsuspecting Britons, who are now living in fear of reprisals.
Israel, which has not denied involvement in the murder, had previously promised that Mossad, its secret intelligence service, would never use British passports to help its agents carry out covert operations. Gordon Brown, making his first public comments about the incident, promised a “full investigation” into the passport forgery."
Brown can 'promise' whatever he wants: he does what his bosses behind the curtains order him to do.*

Mossad has been accused by Hamas, the Islamist group that controls Gaza, of being behind the murder of its military commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, who was found dead in his hotel room in Dubai on Jan 20. All of the British passport holders whose identities were stolen live in Israel, meaning Mossad would have had ready access to copies of their travel documents.
The Serious and Organised Crime Agency, which has a unit based at the British Embassy in Dubai, has begun its own investigation into the identity thefts, and the Prime Minister stressed the importance of protecting the status of the British passport.
“We have got to carry out a full investigation into this,” said Mr Brown. “The British passport is an important document that has got to be held with care. A British passport is an important part of being British.

All countries and 'secret services' cooperate
Quote concerning the United Kingdom (UK) and giving the Canadian example: "Former Mossad agent Victor Ostrovsky said that, while serving with Mossad, he saw many genuine Canadian passports that may have been "donated" to the Israeli government by Jewish-Canadians.
The new diplomatic furore threatened to revive a bitter dispute over Mossad men using false Canadian documents prompted by the publication in 1990 of the memoirs of the Canadian-born Ostrovsky, which the Israelis tried to get banned in Canada and the U.S. (In America a Jewish judge interdicted the book until overruled by a higher New York appeals court).
In "By Way of Deception," the former Israeli agent spoke of seeing a large number of blank Canadian passports in a Mossad "factory". Mr Ostrovsky wrote: "I saw a large batch of Canadian passports. .. It looked like an entire shipment. There were over 1,000 of them."
Canadian passports were favored for Mossad operations because Ottawa would not take a hard line with Israel if a passport operation was blown, Mr. Ostrovsky said. A Mossad agent carried a Canadian passport when she helped murder a Moroccan in Norway in 1973, in an Israeli assassination that was intended for a Palestinian. - The murder by Mossad agents of a Moroccan waiter, Ahmed Bouchiki, in Lillehammer, Norway on July 21, 1973."

As Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said in Israel's first official comment on the affair, then added: "I don't know why we are assuming that Israel, or the Mossad, used those passports."
Further quote: "Some senior Israeli security officials not directly involved in the case were less circumspect, saying they were convinced it was a Mossad operation because of the motive — Israel says al-Mabhouh supplied Gaza's Hamas rulers with their most dangerous weapons — and the use of Israeli citizens' identities.
The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of a government order not to discuss the case, characterized the operation as a significant Mossad bungle. If it develops into a full-blown security scandal, that could harm Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu politically.
Some compared the case to another Mossad embarrassment during Netanyahu's previous term as prime minister, the failed attempt to kill Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal in 1997. Two Mossad agents posing as Canadian tourists were captured after injecting Mashaal with poison, and Israel was forced to send an antidote that saved Mashaal's life. Today Mashaal is Hamas' supreme leader.*

But of course one should ask: why do all the major media in the world - which the war profiteers own for 96%* - broadcast all the time the Dubai CCTV-camera pictures, showing the Mossad suspects in the Dubai killing of the Hamas political party's military commander, Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, who was murdered in his hotel room on Jan 20? Do they think they're above the law? Like their Masters? Some kind of show of - misplaced - confidence?
"Britain will consider severing its intelligence-sharing agreement with Israel if Mossad agents are proved to have stolen the identities of British passport holders." And, as a nefarious but expected result, many more elderly people died needlessly of the fact - as an English paper also wrote - that pensioners can not even afford heating. And that's why they die by the ten thousands.
In an alarming report, Sophie Ridge of the News of the World, last 27 December 2009, again wrote about this massacre by the so called UK-government: "A STAGGERING 43,200 Brits will DIE from the cold this winter - because of soaring gas and electricity costs, new figures reveal.
The grim figure, equal to FIFTEEN deaths every HOUR, has DOUBLED in the last seven years. Energy bills have doubled too.
Most deaths are among the elderly - many of whom have to choose between heating and eating, according to the National Pensioners Convention. With freezing temperatures across much of Britain and high fuel bills hitting working people and the elderly hardest, the government offered a mere £170 million as a one-off cold-weather payment.
Work and Pensions Minister Helen Goodman tried to reassure pensioners that help was "on the way" and that they should not worry about turning their heating on.
However, National Pensioners Convention (NPC) general secretary Dot Gibson said that payments were not automatic and only available to a lucky few. "You have to be on means-tested support to qualify, which excludes the vast majority of older people, and you have to endure seven days of freezing temperatures before being able to receive any payment," she said.
One of the conditions for receiving a payment is that the temperature must be 0 degrees Celsius or less for seven consecutive days. About 12.3 million older people will receive winter fuel payments between £250 and £400. The Conservative Party has in the past attacked the government over the whole concept of winter fuel payments, suggesting that they should be scrapped altogether.
Ms Gibson said there was a much more efficient way of ensuring older people get the help they deserve when they need it than a cold-weather payment. "We would prefer to see the winter fuel allowance that reaches every pensioner household increased to £500 and paid across the board," she demanded. "The NPC thinks this is a more effective way of dealing with cold weather and the drop in temperature that we are currently experiencing."
The government has also been heavily criticised for not exerting enough pressure on private energy companies which have not ruled out price rises. Ms Gibson said that the NPC "would like to see an industry-wide social tariff where a set amount is paid per measure of energy with a lower amount for more vulnerable people."
Twenty thousand mainly older people needlessly die from the cold each year, while many more become seriously ill.
According to recent National Housing Federation figures, some seven million households are currently in fuel poverty.
Despite wholesale electricity and gas prices more than halving, fuel bills only fell by a miserly 4 per cent in 2009, averaging £1,239 a year.
Green campaigners also stepped up calls for a "bold" approach to tackle fuel poverty - and in doing so, meet climate change targets for reducing carbon emissions.
WWF Scotland organiser Elizabeth Leighton urged the Scottish government to build on Westminster's Warm Front scheme in England which offers grants of up to £6,000 for pensioners and single parents on benefits to insulate their homes.

The group said around five million pensioners suffered from a long-term illness that restricted their daily life, while 7.2 million did not have access to free public transport.
But at the same time it estimated that retired people actually saved the taxpayer £24 billion a year through providing unpaid social care and childcare, and through doing voluntary work.
The audit comes as the NPC is due to hold its annual Pensioners' Parliament in Blackpool which will be attended by about 2,000 people. It is due to be addressed by Pensions Minister Stephen Timms.
The group is putting forward a Pensioners' Charter calling for all older people to have access to a decent state pension, free health care and a warm and comfortable home.
It wants to see the basic state pension set above the official poverty line and linked to average earnings.
It is also calling for pensioners to have access to a free annual health check, free long-term care, free community care for people living at home and free nationwide travel on public transport.

Monday June 6, 2005 - Millions of pensioners are malnourished, living below the poverty line and unable to afford to heat their homes in winter, according to new research.
The National Pensioners Convention (NPC) said an estimated 2.2 million older people, the equivalent of one in five pensioners, currently lived below the poverty line, the same number as in 1997.
At the same time it said about 1.5 million pensioners were malnourished or at serious risk of malnourishment, while 1.5 million also said their house was too cold in winter.
The Age Audit, which was based on Government statistics and major pieces of research into the lives of elderly people, also found that an estimated 22,000 people died as a result of the cold last year.
The group said around five million pensioners suffered from a long-term illness that restricted their daily life, while 7.2 million did not have access to free public transport.
But at the same time it estimated that retired people actually saved the taxpayer £24 billion a year through providing unpaid social care and childcare, and through doing voluntary work.
The audit comes as the NPC is due to hold its annual Pensioners' Parliament in Blackpool which will be attended by about 2,000 people. It is due to be addressed by Pensions Minister Stephen Timms.
The group is putting forward a Pensioners' Charter calling for all older people to have access to a decent state pension, free health care and a warm and comfortable home.
It wants to see the basic state pension set above the official poverty line and linked to average earnings.
It is also calling for pensioners to have access to a free annual health check, free long-term care, free community care for people living at home and free nationwide travel on public transport.
