US CENSORSHIP: OBAMA, SUNSTEIN AND JOSEPH GOEBBELS

Henk Ruyssenaars + Fwd. Franklin's Focus

Obama's race to the bottom...

January 17th 2010 - This is published because there are so many 'signs on the wall' that you even can't see the wall anymore. I fully agree with Richard Franklin. This is among many other things I did on it too:

Internet Censorship & What Is Totalitarianism? - Url.: http://tinyurl.com/ycecdmo

Hitler: An Officer And A Gentleman? - History's warning regarding a compliant media. - Information Clearing House - Url.: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article4420.htm

And did you know this? - "03/02/06 "New York Times" - The Justice Department is asking Internet companies to keep records on the Web-surfing activities of their customers to aid law enforcement, and may propose legislation to force them to do so." - [end quote]

And we have to understand that the warmongers not only own the screen and radio & TV mind poisoning and brainwashing Hollywood: the so called 'Free Press' is Big Money. And we all understand that having 96% of the war propaganda media, one controls the political landscape as well. - Url.: http://tinyurl.com/dafucd

And this fits Franklin's story and your blog too. - Url.: http://tinyurl.com/yjezvtc

Franklin's Focus - 1/16/10 - Cass Sunstein, who is a poorly disguised neofascist, has now been given a position in a White House that is definitely neocryptic fascist. The Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) will be a cosmetic front. Little by little, Obama is working to create an inner White House cabal that is authoritarian. The appointment of Sunstein was to deal with any persons or groups who do not accept official White House reports such as the farcical 9/11 Report. Sunstein has made it clear he intends to suppress groups or thinkers who do not accept White House official versions of events.

I cannot recall any administration in my lifetime that has created a special department assigned to a repression of those who question the White House voice of authority. Nixon came close, but not in such an open and structured way. The docile American media have quietly accepted the creation of this new executive post and the selection of a neofascist to run the office. When Hitler assigned Joseph Goebbels to the post of his official propaganda minister, it was the first time such an office had been created in modern Germany. We now have a similar first in Amerika.

The appointment of a Goebbels-like minister in the Obama White House is a first in America. Sunstein's mission is not totally unlike that of Goebbels. To make this appointment and the creation of this office twice as scary, our blessed fourth estate has thus far shown no wish to challenge or attack this openly additional movement toward neofascism in the Obama White House. Bloggers are slowly becoming the only in touch with reality reporters.

Visit Google under the clue 'Hitler's propaganda minister'. You will see a host of opinion pieces recalling Nazi Germany and Joseph Goebbels. Folks are waking up with regard to Obama. What seemed extreme in my early attacks on Obama and my fears that he is a closet neofascist now appear to be far from extreme. The path Obama is going down has become quite obviously dangerous for this nation.

The only way this man can be stopped in my opinion is by impeachment, and he is far too canny to be caught in that net. The creation of a propaganda minister with powers to choke off or totally suppress dissent any way he can manage to do so is probably the most ominous action thus far by Obama.

Early on, I dug into Obama's career in Chicago. I concluded then that he was a closet authoritarian at a minimum, and a closet neofascist at worst. Within ten days of taking office as a U.S. senator, Obama entered into a corrupt arrangement with a corporation that allowed Obama to make a bundle almost immediately after taking office. That suggested to me that he had the amoral nature of greedy thief and a total contempt for law and decency. Fascists are basically gangsters working through the machinery of the state. As Obama's popularity soared in ways reminiscent of Hitler's rise to mass adoration, I began fretting.

The 9/11 false flag op was one the most obvious false flags in modern history. The fact is that Obama wants to crush the critics of the official story. To do so, he has created a what smells like a neofascist department and has appointed an amoral right-winger to oversee that department, a man who happens to see all dissidents as enemies of the state. These are hard realities that will perhaps wake up the most loyal followers of Obama. Underscore 'perhaps'.

The slide downward is increasing in velocity. It seems like a rolling snowball.

As for me, I was already on the FBI shit list. My past writings on 9/11 surely place me in the number one group that Sunstein has targeted for his mission of suppression. He seems obsessed over those who have rejected the 9/11 fairy tale. If an FBI agent comes knocking at my door one day, I will not be surprised. It would not be the first time that has happened. Sunstein will likely first try a traditional method of the FBI, which is simply to frighten people.

One method used in the past is to take people into custody at airports and strip search them, then hold them incommunicado and naked in a cold room until their flight has taken off with their luggage. That happened to me at LaGuardia a number of years ago. No explanation is given, which gives the experience a kind of Franz Kafka ambience.

What followed the fright technique during the Vietnam War was brutality. The entire leadership of the American Indian Movement, which had opposed the draft and the war, was murdered. Much later, during the Clinton years, at least five of my muckraking contacts were murdered. There has long been an underbelly of violence in this country that only is known about by longtime, dedicated muckrakers.

Mind you, the FBI and the CIA do not engage in these actions. The FBI has used the Mafia. The CIA has a deal with the Mossad. The CIA does jobs for the Mossad in the Middle East, and the Mossad does jobs for the CIA in the states. As you know, 9/11 was the biggest job the Mossad has ever had as part of their agreement with the CIA.

This system has worked to perfection for many years. This way no trail can ever be traced to the FBI or CIA, although things got a little hairy when MOSSAD agents were arrested at a tunnel just after 9/11 by NYC cops. Washington had to act fast to get those agents out of jail and out of the country.

It is this tradition that I fear might be resuscitated by somebody like Sunstein. He has made it clear he holds the Bill of Rights and the entire U.S. Constitution in complete contempt. He has a perfect neofascist mentality.

That's why Bush and Cheney adored the man. I see Sunstein as Obama's Cheney.

Today's Quotation

'One day we'll get them [the leakers] to the ground where we want them. And we'll stick our heels in, step on them hard, and twist. Step on them, crush them, show them no mercy.'

President Richard M. Nixon to Henry Kissinger after the leak of the Pentagon Papers to the media.

Warmest regards, Richard

OBAMA APPOINTEE SUNSTEIN WANTS TO DISRUPT DISLIKED BLOGS WITH GOVERNMENT TROLLS

Daniel Tencer, Raw Story - In a 2008 academic paper, President Barack Obama's appointee to head the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs advocated "cognitive infiltration" of groups that advocate "conspiracy theories" like the ones surrounding 9/11.

Cass Sunstein, a Harvard law professor, co-wrote an academic article entitled "Conspiracy Theories: Causes and Cures," in which he argued that the government should stealthily infiltrate groups that pose alternative theories on historical events via "chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups and attempt to undermine" those groups.

As head of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, Sunstein is in charge of "overseeing policies relating to privacy, information quality, and statistical programs," according to the White House Web site.

Sunstein's article, published in the Journal of Political Philosphy in 2008 and recently uncovered by blogger Marc Estrin, states that "our primary claim is that conspiracy theories typically stem not from irrationality or mental illness of any kind but from a 'crippled epistemology,' in the form of a sharply limited number of (relevant) informational sources."

By "crippled epistemology" Sunstein means that people who believe in conspiracy theories have a limited number of sources of information that they trust. Therefore, Sunstein argued in the article, it would not work to simply refute the conspiracy theories in public -- the very sources that conspiracy theorists believe would have to be infiltrated.

Sunstein, whose article focuses largely on the 9/11 conspiracy theories, suggests that the government "enlist nongovernmental officials in the effort to rebut the theories. It might ensure that credible independent experts offer the rebuttal, rather than government officials themselves. There is a tradeoff between credibility and control, however. The price of credibility is that government cannot be seen to control the independent experts."

Sunstein argued that "government might undertake (legal) tactics for breaking up the tight cognitive clusters of extremist theories." He suggested that "government agents (and their allies) might enter chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups and attempt to undermine percolating conspiracy theories by raising doubts about their factual premises, causal logic or implications for political action."

"We expect such tactics from undercover cops, or FBI," Estrin writes at the Rag Blog, expressing surprise that "a high-level presidential advisor" would support such a strategy.

Estrin notes that Sunstein advocates in his article for the infiltration of "extremist" groups so that it undermines the groups' confidence to the extent that "new recruits will be suspect and participants in the group's

Center for Progressive Reform - Barack Obama [has] selected Harvard Law Professor Cass Sunstein to direct the White House Office of Management and Budget's Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. The job is perhaps better known by its informal title: "regulatory czar," so named because the holder is charged with signing off on all major proposed regulations. In the recent past, the OIRA has been a place where regulations to protect health, safety and the environment go to die, or at the very least be weakened.

In a report, a group of CPR member scholars expressed serious concern about Professor Sunstein's support for the very methods used to weaken and defeat badly needed regulations. Among the concerns:

- Sunstein is a stout supporter of cost-benefit analysis as a primary tool for assessing regulations, despite its imprecision and the ease with which it is manipulated to achieve preferred policy outcomes;

- He supports such cost-benefit approaches as the widely condemned "senior discount" method for undervaluing the lives of seniors in cost-benefit analyses, an approach even the Bush Administration was forced to disown;

- He rejects the "precautionary principle" as a basis for regulating, thus ensuring that dangerous pollutants and products will be given the "benefit of the doubt," rather than well-grounded concerns about health and safety;

- He supports the centralization of authority over regulatory decisions in the White House - OIRA in particular, even though Congress delegated the exercise of expert judgment to the regulatory agencies, not to OIRA's staff economists in the White House.

- He has written that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration might be unconstitutional.

CPR President Rena Steinzor, one of seven co-authors of the report, warned that "Unless he turns over a new leaf, or unless President Obama keeps a careful eye on OIRA, we fear that Cass Sunstein's reliance on cost-benefit analysis will create a regulatory fiefdom in the White House that will deal with needed regulations in very much the same way that the Bush Administration did."

[I've discussed, defined, and analyzed 'cost benefit analysis' in past editions. I hope some folks remember that analysis. I'm too lazy to repeat it.]

End."

HR: We better remember and heed the warning of President George Washington: "If the freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter."

The jailers of free speech must be stopped, before they gag us all.
