OBAMA'S SUPREME COURT: NO MORE WASPs...

A Supreme Court 'judge' supporting fraud? Quote from Wikipedia: "From 2005 through 2008, Kagan was a member of the Research Advisory Council of the Goldman Sachs Global Markets Institute and received a $10,000 stipend for her service in 2008." - And who for instance also justifies indefinite detention without a trial?* That's 'justice' Kagan style?

May 10th 2010 - At ten o'clock this morning, and on behalf of his managers, Barack Obama - who at present is their 'front man' in the White House - in the East Room will announce that another member of the 'ruling family' has been named to the Supreme Court: Elena Kagan.* Which will mean the end of the WASPs* in that Court. But, on the other hand: when was there ever any real justice in the United States Corporation?

Apart from that: Kagan never protested either the totally illegal invasions of other countries. Killing people by the millions everywhere, and she says they are above the law of the war and defends this inhuman, horrible and ongoing slaughter? Kagan drew earlier already criticism for arguing that battlefield law,* including indefinite detention without a trial, could apply outside of traditional battlefields. Absolutely not true, but she uses 'their own laws'. To Kagan et al it doesn't matter apparently that the First Geneva Convention governing sick and wounded members of armed forces, was signed long before they were let loose on this earth, in 1864.*

But, and it is - as the New York Times writes in its eloge - the usual and compliant NYT's discourse in panegyric of this 'illustrious person': "Obama Is Said to Select Kagan as Justice." - Washington, May 9, 2010 - President Obama will nominate Solicitor General Elena Kagan as the nation’s 112th justice, choosing his own chief advocate before the Supreme Court to join it in ruling on cases critical to his view of the country’s future, Democrats close to the White House said Sunday.

After a monthlong search [This is the usual propaganda crap, and not true. It already started years ago.* - HR] Mr. Obama informed Ms. Kagan and his advisers on Sunday of his [Haha! - HR] choice to succeed the retiring Justice John Paul Stevens. He plans to announce the nomination at 10 a.m. Monday in the East Room of the White House with Ms. Kagan by his side, said the Democrats, who insisted on anonymity to discuss the decision before it was formally made public.

If the Senate confirms Ms. Kagan, who is Jewish, the Supreme Court for the first time will have no Protestant members. In that case, the court would be composed of six justices who are Catholic and three who are Jewish. It also would mean that every member of the court had studied law at Harvard or Yale." - [end excerpt]*

There is anyhow, otherwise it would be too bad, a slightly critical note in the NYT's eloge. It's about the fact that it's all pre-planned. That this path to the Supreme Court, and her placement there, by the managers of Obama and her 'advisers' has been foreseen:

'FAMILY' IN: WASPs OUT

So: the family members and important collaborators like the 6 supposed to be 'Catholics' stay in, and the WASP's are out. All according to plan. One has to remember that all of this is long-term planning. Things don't happen from one second to the other. It's all prepared and planned. Many times according to the so-called Salami-tactic: Every time a small slice is taken, and after some time one's got the whole sausage.

Logical that in another very positive article about Kagan, the NYT describes her climb being: "Marked by Confidence and Canniness. - New York Times, Washington, May 10, 2010 — She was a creature of Manhattan’s liberal, intellectual Upper West Side — a smart, witty girl who was bold enough at 13 to challenge her family’s rabbi over her bat mitzvah, cocky (or perhaps prescient) enough at 17 to pose for her high school yearbook in a judge’s robe with a gavel and a quotation from Felix Frankfurter, the Supreme Court justice, underneath.

She was the razor-sharp newspaper editor and history major at Princeton who examined American socialism, and the Supreme Court clerk for a legal giant, Thurgood Marshall, who nicknamed her “Shorty.” She was the reformed teenage smoker who confessed to the occasional cigar as she fought Big Tobacco for the Clinton administration, and the literature lover who reread Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice” every year.

So, what happens and happened in the reality of the rulers? The U.S. so-called Supreme Court, for a long time to come, will further dance to their tune.

Quote from a JTA comment: "Kagan, who was Harvard Law School dean from 2003 to 2009, hired conservative professors, saying the faculty needed ideological diversity. As a Clinton administration domestic policy adviser, she argued for greater executive powers, now a red flag for liberals because of the Bush administration's expansive understanding of how the executive branch may upend privacy rights in matters of national security. However, Kagan's arguments under Clinton were confined to the executive branch's regulatory powers, and were of a different stripe.

Still, it didn't help that William Kristol, a neoconservative icon, endorsed her on Fox News Sunday over the weekend.

The liberal-leaning Jewish groups that track nominees are unworried. Sammie Moshenberg, who directs the Washington office of the National Council of Jewish Women, counted Kagan as an "outstanding" nominee who would have "fidelity to the rule of law and constitutional values." Kagan has written expansively about the application of First Amendment free speech rights.

Marc Stern, the acting director of the American Jewish Congress, noted that as solicitor general, Kagan argued in favor of keeping a war memorial cross in place on federal land in the Mojave desert - a case where liberal Jewish groups have generally aligned with church-state separationists, who wanted the cross, which was first erected in 1934, removed.

"We have taken the position that this is not a basis for criticism," he said. "Since she’s the solicitor general, she didn't have a whole lot of choice except to defend. Therefore it would be wrong to criticize."

Kagan or Garland would bring the court's Jewish justices from two to three (out of nine) - and would completely remove Protestants from the bench, with Stevens gone. Additionally, Kagan or Wood would bring the number of women currently on the bench to three," JTA wrote in a comment.*

So all propaganda-media will concentrate in the coming days too on this number: look how 'progressive' Obama is! Three women on the bench of the Supreme Court! And with all the WASPs gone, Kagan fits the inhuman and deplorable state of affairs in the United Police States as a hand in a glove.

For anybody who liked the U.S. and especially the people, from a human point of view, with friends and enjoying the landscape, the so-called change for the worse must have come as a very rude awakening.

But, Kagan is 'one of them' - and will proceed to enhance, as she always did, greater executive powers for the US and global rulers.

By doing so however, she'll confirm that only global resistance to 'their' way of life is supreme.

Certainly not jesters of the rulers court.

KERNWAPENS: IRAN HAALT TERECHT OOK UIT NAAR NEDERLAND

4 Mei 2010 - Alle media publiceren natuurlijk dat de Iraanse president Mahmoud Ahmedinejad ook heeft gezegd dat Nederland z'n rol als nucleair doel van de VS moet beëindigen. En er wordt nooit iets officieel gezegd - ondanks dat het een bekend feit is - dat ook op de amerikaans/nederlandse vliegbasis Volkel volledig illegaal kernwapens liggen opgeslagen.* Helemaal in strijd met ook door de VS en Nederland geratificeerde conventies.*

Dat land zou uit het bestuur van atoomwaakhond IAEA moeten, omdat het in de Tweede Wereldoorlog kernwapens heeft gebruikt tegen Japan.

De buitengewoon leugenachtige z.g. 'minister' Maxime Verhagen, die als oorlogsmisdadiger net zoals de rest van die heulende bende van Balkenende allang opgesloten had moeten worden - zei er volgens RTL dit over: "Verhagen benadrukte dat Nederland de zaal niet verliet vanwege opmerkingen van Ahmadinejad over Amerikaanse bases met kernwapens in Europese landen, maar pas op het moment dat de Iraanse president Israël ervan beschuldigde andere landen in de regio te willen binnenvallen en terreur te willen zaaien."

Dit is zo onwerkelijk onbeschoft als maar mogelijk is. Verhagen en de rest van die volledig onbetrouwbare oorlogsmisdadigers spelen gewoonweg mee in het vuile spelletje dat de werkelijke machthebbers momenteel met Nederland en de rest van aarde spelen. Ten koste van miljoenen mensenlevens en met als enige doel voor ogen de winst in de triljoenen voor het misdadige kartel.*

SMERIGE OORLOGSMISDADIGE LAFAARDS ZIJN 'T

Verhagen zou 's in het 'Niet Verspreidings Verdrag' (NPT - 'Non Proliferation Treaty') moeten kijken of naar hetgeen zelfs een propaganda-medium als de Washington Post vandaag publiceert betreffende de NPT Conferentie die momenteel in de New York plaatsvindt.* De WP schrijft dat de israelische houding mogelijke maatregelen tegen Iran in de weg staat. Het 'compliceert' ze.

"Het is verborgen in punt 31," schrijft de Washington Post in de punten van bespreking van Egypte en andere niet-gebonden landen: "It's buried as Point 31 in a working paper being circulated by Egypt and other nonaligned parties at the Non-Proliferation Treaty review conference in New York: a pledge by countries signing the treaty that they will not permit the transfer of any nuclear-related equipment, information, materials or "know-how" to Israel as long as that country refuses to sign the NPT or put its nuclear facilities under safeguards of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Point 31 also calls for signatory countries, including the United States, "to disclose all information available to them on the nature and scope of Israeli nuclear capabilities, including information pertaining to previous nuclear transfers to Israel." France and the United States have been identified as key suppliers to Israel's secret nuclear weapons development program in the 1950s and 1960s.

How the Obama administration deals with the nettlesome problem of Israel's nuclear arsenal and the establishment of a nuclear-weapons-free zone in the Middle East will determine U.S. success or failure at the NPT conference.

Israel has as many as 200 nuclear weapons. It has land-based missiles, bombs, and submarines capable of firing nuclear-armed cruise missiles. Its policy is not to acknowledge its nuclear arsenal. It is not a signatory to the NPT, so it is not a participant in the conference.

Iran, on the other hand, has no nuclear weapons -- at least not yet. But as a signatory to the NPT, Tehran's steps toward acquiring nuclear weapons capability have made it a target for U.N. Security Council sanctions, initiated by Washington and its allies, that are more stringent than those Egypt proposes be applied to Israel." - [einde citaat]

Dus géén kernwapens of know-how hierover naar landen zoals Israël die niet de NPT hebben geratificeerd, zegt dit document. Maar desondanks noemt de laffe Maxime Verhagen "de toespraak van de Iraanse president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad 'een aaneenschakeling van ongefundeerde en onaanvaardbare beschuldigingen aan het adres van Europese landen, de Verenigde Staten en Israël'."

Verhagen, net zoals veel teveel andere lafaards en profiteurs - danst volledig naar de pijpen van de machthebbers wiens loopjongens ze zijn. Ze worden er zélf iets beter van door de lafaards en collaborateurs te zijn, en verkopen bovendien heel Nederland achter de rug van de mensen om. Zoals door het criminele cartel gepland. Ze heulen met de beulen en krijgen daarvoor hun Judas bloedgeld, zo hopen ze.

Op nog geen 45 Km van waar dit geschreven wordt, liggen volledig illegale kernwapens van de VS opgeslagen, maar Verhagen zul je er niet over horen. Evemin over het feit dat zestien amerikaanse geheime diensten van de CIA en NASA hebben gezegd dat 't nog jaren duurt vóórdat Iran een kernwapen zou kunnen hebben.

Westerse landen die weer een illegale rooftocht na de al even illegale invasie zien: "en dan met name de Verenigde Staten, Israël, Groot-Brittannië en Frankrijk," zo schrijft RTL: "beschuldigen Iran ervan op kernwapens uit te zijn. Ahmadinejad ontkent dat in alle toonaarden. Zoals ik eerder al schreef: er worden al tientallen jaren lang, 24 uur per dag en zeven dagen per week, satellietfoto's en films gemaakt van Iran, door de VS, Rusland en China. Er kan geen kruiwagen verreden worden, of de bovengenoemde landen kunnen 't zien...

Maar op 13 April 2010 kreeg de démissonaire* 'premier' Balkenende via de werkelijke machthebbers van Nederland de opdracht gekregen een 'nucleair tribunaal' voor te bereiden. Hij voldoet hiermee aan de eisen van de lange-termijn planering van 't kriminele kartel waarvoor Balkenende zich prostitueert: de spanning tegen Iran blijven opvoeren. Dat moet de volgende illegale invasie en rooftocht van 't globale kartel worden."

Verhagen en zijn heulende trawanten steunen ook deze oorlogsmisdaad voor hun bazen:

HET GAAT ALTIJD OM WINST EN MACHT: NOOIT OM MENSENLEVENS

Het moet écht gezien worden als één globaal werkzame misdadige firma. En het wordt ook hoog tijd dat we - hoe gek en onmenselijk 't ook klinkt - dit proberen te begrijpen. Het gaat het moordzuchtige kartel nooit om de mensen, waar danook ter wereld. De globale rooftocht-financiers beschouwen mensen hooguit als een middel om de winst en macht te vergroten. Dit ondanks het feit dat de meeste mensen die erbij betrokken zijn wéten dat Iran - volgens alle geheime diensten ter wereld, behalve de Israëlische Mossad - géén kernwapens zou hebben. Of uranium voor kernwapens zou verrijken. Bovendien wordt er nog steeds - 24 uur per dag en zeven dagen in de week - satellietfoto's en films gemaakt door de VS, Rusland en China, die dit dagelijks bewijzen. IRAN: BALKENENDE WIL 'NUCLEAIR TRIBUNAAL'

Er worden al tientallen jaren lang, 24 uur per dag en zeven dagen per week, satellietfoto's en films gemaakt van Iran, door de VS, Rusland en China. Er kan geen kruiwagen verreden worden, of die kunnen 't zien...

13 April 2010 - De démissonaire* 'premier' Balkenende heeft via de werkelijke machthebbers van Nederland de opdracht gekregen een 'nucleair tribunaal' voor te bereiden. Hij voldoet hiermee aan de eisen van de lange-termijn planering van 't kriminele kartel waarvoor Balkenende zich prostitueert: de spanning tegen Iran blijven opvoeren. Dat moet de volgende illegale invasie en rooftocht van 't globale kartel worden.

Net zoals 't overige zich 'politicus' noemend politieke personeel van de belastingbetalers dit doet. Evenals de propagandamedia en computer-koelies van 't kartel van profiteurs, die Nederland met leugens en oorlogspropaganda bedekken als een misselijkmakende deken.*

Op de propaganda website van NOS teletekst, staat vandaag te lezen dat: "Volgens premier Balkenende waren er verscheidene landen die erkennen dat concrete internationale rechtregels op dit moment ontbreken." - [ ]

Dat is dus niet waar, en dat weet de 'Balkenbende' en dat weten de managers ook. Maar 't doet 't goed in de hersenspoeling van wat ze als klapvee beschouwen, de alsmaar belogen en permanent bestolen goegemeente van ruim 16 miljoen mensen. Alsof die wereldwijde kriminelen nog nooit van het NPT, het Non-Proliferatie Verdrag hebben gehoord. Of van de internationaal al lang vastgelegde 'Rechten van de Mens'? Alsof zo niks weten over de 'Neurenberg Principes'* die kunnen worden toegepast? Ze gedragen zich er in ieder geval nooit naar...

Weet U nog hoe 't er, bijna op de kop af drie jaar geleden, uitzag? Compleet met uitlatingen van de volledig onbetrouwbare en schijnheilige lands- en mensenverrader Maxime Verhagen? Zo:

"Kabinet mag aanval op Iran steunen.

DEN HAAG - 10 april 2007 - Het kabinet houdt zijn handen vrij om een buitenlandse aanval op Iran te steunen. Een voorstel van GroenLinks om bij voorbaat een stokje te steken voor Nederlandse steun als er geen VN-mandaat is, haalde het dinsdag niet bij de stemmingen in de Tweede Kamer. Naast de indiener stemden ook de PvdA, SP, D66 en de Partij voor de Dieren voor. Opmerkelijk is de steun van coalitiepartij PvdA, omdat de motie verder gaat dan in het regeerakkoord met het CDA en de ChristenUnie is afgesproken. Daarin staat dat Nederland alleen militaire steun mag geven als daarvoor een volkenrechtelijke mandaat op tafel ligt. Wat dit precies betekent, moet het kabinet nog uitleggen.

Binnenkort volgt een notitie hierover waarna zowel de Eerste als Tweede Kamer zich erover buigen. De parlementariërs hebben haast, omdat de internationale spanning rond Iran oploopt. Net als Irak destijds over massavernietigingswapens, weigert Iran de Verenigde Naties openheid van zaken te geven over zijn nucleaire ambities. Minister Maxime Verhagen (Buitenlandse Zaken) had de motie ontraden. Volgens hem zijn er situaties mogelijk waarin ingrijpen tegen Iran denkbaar is. Overigens: wat een demissionair kabinet Balkenende en z'n baasjes wederrechtelijk en onbeschoft toch denken te kunnen doen, via de zich prostituerende propaganda-media, bleek ook al in 2003: "Nederland was massaal tegen de Irak-oorlog" - Op 18 maart 2003 besloot het demissionaire kabinet-Balkenende I steun te verlenen aan de oorlog tegen Irak. Het was een ingrijpend en felomstreden besluit, al helemaal voor een demissionair kabinet. De oorlog miste een overtuigende inhoudelijke en juridische grondslag en bracht onoverzichtelijke risico’s met zich mee. Van de Nederlanders was 89 procent er daarom tegen. HET GAAT ALTIJD OM WINST EN MACHT: NOOIT OM MENSENLEVENS

Het moet écht gezien worden als één globaal werkzame misdadige firma. En het wordt ook hoog tijd dat we - hoe gek en onmenselijk dit ook klinkt: het gaat dit moordzuchtige kartel nooit om de mensen, waar danook ter wereld. Miljoenen mensen lijden en worden jaarlijks gedood voor meer macht en profijt van 't kriminele kartel van de conflicten.

De globale rooftocht-financiers beschouwen mensen hooguit als een middel om de winst en macht te vergroten. En hun meelopers - zoals vrijwel alle 'politici' en de presstitutees in de media die ze ook bezitten - die doen eraan mee. Maar, en dat gaat echt gebeuren: ze zullen allemaal hun straf krijgen, in het gevang of door nachtmerries.

IRAN WORDT DOOR SATELLIETEN AL DERTIG JAAR GECONTROLEERD

Dit ondanks het feit dat de meeste mensen die erbij betrokken zijn wéten dat Iran - volgens alle geheime diensten ter wereld, behalve de Israëlische Mossad - géén kernwapens zou hebben. Of uranium voor kernwapens zou verrijken. Bovendien wordt er nog steeds - 24 uur per dag en zeven dagen in de week - satellietfoto's en films gemaakt door de VS, Rusland en China, die dit dagelijks bewijzen. En dat sedert minstens dertig jaar.*

Maar, volgens de globale propaganda is China nu ook van plan om mee te doen en 'strenge sancties' te eisen. Spel voor de galerijen en - zoals altijd uit die hoek: gelogen en bedrogen. China doet al heel lang mee met de globale rooftochten en woekerpraktijken.*

Die z.g. 'tribunalen' in Den Haag hebben trouwens geen enkele vorm van rechtsgeldigheid, en worden worden overigens betaald door de overinnaars. Zoals de financiers. MORDECHAI VANUNU EN KERNFYSICUS DR.FRANK BARNABY

En waarom niet 's gekeken naar de kernwapens die ook Israel heeft? En dit in 'n gestolen stuk land dat de NPT (Non-Proliferatie Verdrag) weigert te tekenen? Dat het z.g.Israel een kernwapenmacht is, is al lang bekend. En zeker sinds de israelische Mordechai Vanunu die er had gewerkt, in September 1986 foto's gaf aan de engelse krant 'Sunday Times' van de min of meer geheime Dimona kernwapencentrale.*

Dr. Frank Barnaby van 't King's College in Cambridge (GB), was in mijn tijd in Stockholm, Zweden, benoemd tot directeur van SIPRI, het Stockholm Peace Research Institute. Frank Barnaby - die ik persoonlijk kenden - was de kernfysicus die de foto's van Vanunu voor rekening van de Sunday Times onderzocht, zo vertelde hij me later. En goedkeurde.

Tien jaar later kwam de grote klapper: "Op 8 juli 1996 verklaarde het Internationale Gerechtshof in Den Haag het dreigen met, of gebruiken van kernwapens, illegaal. Balkenende die zegt 'christen' te zijn, net als veel van die oorlogsmisdadigers, moet voor z'n oorlogszuchtige managers strijd blijven zoeken met Iran. Mensen die tegen de illegale aanwezigheid van deze massavernietigingswapens protesteren, worden door de horige politie en de 'gewapende loopjongens' van 't misdadige kartel, de militairen, opgepakt, zoals de NOS wist te melden. Dit via het lang geleden geprivatiseerde industrie-informatie agentschap ANP (stroman: Fentener van Vlissingen):

Amerikaanse kernwapens: In totaal demonstreerden zo'n honderd mensen tegen kernwapens. Hoewel het officieel nooit is bevestigd, wordt aangenomen dat er op de basis in Volkel Amerikaanse kernwapens liggen opgeslagen. Het vliegverkeer is door de actie van de demonstranten niet in gevaar geweest. Over de "werkelijke reden voor sancties tegen Iran" was het volgende te lezen: "De door de VS ingezette campagne om nieuwe economische sancties op te leggen aan Iran heeft niets te maken met het nobele doel van het beperken van de ontwikkeling van nucleaire wapens op deze wereld. Het is direct gekoppeld aan de Amerikaanse militaire doctrine van de oprichting van totale dominantie - dwz, militaire dominantie op land, zee, lucht en ruimte over alle andere landen in de wereld. De logische uitbreiding van deze leer is dat alleen landen die stevig gelieerd zijn aan de Amerikaanse regering zou moeten worden toegestaan om nucleaire wapens te verwerven of om zelfs het vermogen te ontwikkelen om dit te doen. - [ ]

Verder citaat: "Van Israël, bijvoorbeeld, is alom bekend men dat ze over geheime nucleaire wapens beschikken. Toch is er geen oproep tot sancties of onderzoeken naar hen. De reden is simpel: Ze zijn een Amerikaanse bondgenoot. India en Pakistan hebben geweigerd het nucleaire non-proliferatieverdrag te tekenen en zijn nucleaire wapens gaan ontwikkelen. Toch is er geen oproep tot sancties of onderzoeken naar hen. De reden is simpel: Ze zijn Amerikaanse bondgenoten.

Iran en Noord-Korea worden onderworpen aan economische sancties en er wordt om meer sancties gevraagd en zelfs met dreiging van militaire agressie tegen hen. De reden hiervoor is wederom simpel: Ze zijn geen Amerikaanse bondgenoten.

Een belangrijk element van nationale soevereiniteit omvat het niet mengen in de binnenlandse aangelegenheden van landen, door externe mogendheden. Het is een belangrijke hoeksteen van echte internationale vrede en veiligheid, die onder andere verband houdt met het aanvaarden van en respect hebben voor de culturele, politieke en economische diversiteit in de wereld. En dat aanvalsoorlogen tegen landen die niet hebben aangevallen, verboden zijn onder internationaal recht. Aanvalsoorlogen zijn na WW2 tijdens het proces van Neurenberg onwettig verklaard, die de invasie van andere landen tot doel hebben met Duitsland als voorbeeld.

Vervolgens heeft de Algemene Vergadering van de Verenigde Naties resoluties vastgesteld voor een verbod op militaire agressie, invasies en bezettingen van een land door een ander - behalve uit zelfverdediging wanneer de aangevallen natie eerst zelf heeft aangevallen.

Van Iran is op dit moment alleen bekend dat het materialen voor kerncentrales ontwikkeld. En het heeft de VS nog nooit aangevallen maar toch wordt Iran onderworpen aan sancties, vraagt men om meer sancties, en dreigt men met mogelijke militaire acties tegen hen.

De waarheid over het Non-proliferatieverdrag

Als ondertekenaar van het VN-nucleaire non-proliferatie verdrag, mag Iran geen nucleare wapens ontwikkelen.

Maar - en dit is een cruciaal punt - het non-proliferatie verdrag geeft elke ondertekenende het soevereine recht om zich vrijwillig terug te trekken uit het verdrag met inachteming van een opzegtermijn van drie maanden. Daarna heeft dat land het absolute recht, krachtens het internationale recht, om nucleaire wapens op haar eigen grondgebied te plaatsen.

Noord-Korea, die oorspronkelijk het verdrag heeft ondertekend en zich later terugtrok, heeft nu het wettelijk recht om nucleaire wapens te ontwikkelen. India, Pakistan en Israël hebben het verdrag nooit ondertekend en hebben dus ook het wettelijke recht om nucleaire wapens te plaatsen.

In plaats van deze realiteit te erkennen, hebben de westerse politici en media dit systematisch verborgen voor het publiek. In plaats van de waarheid, hebben zij vage herhaalde mantra's als ' het trotseren van de internationale gemeenschap' (dwz niet buigen voor de wil van de VS).

In een typisch voorbeeld van deze misleidende retoriek, zei de Amerikaanse president Obama een paar dagen geleden: "Ondanks dat zij zeggen dat hun nucleaire activiteit alleen voor civiel gebruik is... ze in feite streven naar een weg die zou leiden tot bewapening, en dat is onaanvaardbaar voor de internationale gemeenschap. "

Het ontbreken van een juridisch argument in deze verklaring weerspiegelt het feit dat er geen juridisch argument is tegen het Iraanse kernenergieprogramma, en dat zelfs de ontwikkeling van wapens wettelijk zou worden als Irak zich terugtrekt uit het non-proliferatieverdrag. Natuurlijk, het door Obama gebezigde het “niet-aanvaardbaar zijn voor de internationale gemeenschap” betekent niet de naties van de wereld, maar “de VS en zijn bondgenoten”.

U. S. Sancties zijn een onderdeel van het imperialisme

Om het Amerikaanse beleid ten aanzien van Iran en Noord-Korea ten volle te begrijpen, moeten we het zien in de ruimere poging om zijn militaire machine over de hele wereld uit te breiden, en de eventuele belemmeringen voor haar machtspositie weg te nemen.

Er zijn momenteel 700 Amerikaanse militaire basissen buiten de VS, en het is bezig met een groot project om het bereik van de NAVO uit te breiden door het opnemen van zoveel mogelijk van de voormalige Oost-Europese socialistische staten van de voormalige Sovjet-Unie.

De VS wil ook militair zowel Rusland als China omringen met schepen voorzien ven aan raket-lanceerinrichting, base in naburige staten, hi-tech wapens op Taiwan, en de bewapening van kleine anti-Russische staten zoals Georgië. Amerikaanse bases worden ook gebouwd in Zuid-Amerikaanse land als Columbia, naast de deur van Venezuela, een land dat heeft geijverd om een socialistisch alternatief te ontwikkelen voor de Amerikaanse overheersing van de regio.

De Amerikaanse oppositie tegen het nucleaire programma van Iran is bedoeld om ervoor te zorgen dat de VS - en zijn nucleaire gewapende belangrijke bondgenoten zoals Groot-Brittannië, Frankrijk, India en Pakistan – de wereld kunnen blijven domineren. Het is ook bedoeld voor het verzwakken van het vermogen van het Midden-Oosten om zich tegen de Amerikaanse overheersing in hun regio te verzetten.

Factsheet Kernwapens: de stand van zaken.*

Kernwapen en vliegbasis Volkel: "Piloten van dit [F-16] squadron worden getraind in het afgooien van kernwapens. De kernwapens zelf blijven tot het moment van gebruik Amerikaans bezit. Het zijn ook de Verenigde Staten die het besluit tot inzet van kernwapens nemen. Wanneer dit het geval is, bepaalt de NAVO-commandant in Europa, de Strategic Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), welke kernwapens gebruikt gaan worden. Hij geeft vervolgens een zogenaamd 'release order' aan de Amerikaanse eenheid die de kernwapens bewaken. Deze eenheid draagt de kernwapens over aan de piloten die ze moeten vliegen en afgooien. In voorkomend geval wordt de feitelijke beschikkingsmacht over de kernwapens dus overgedragen aan Nederlandse piloten. Een praktijk die op gespannen voet staat met het Nonproliferatieverdrag (NPV), dat de overdracht van kernwapens aan niet-kernwapenstaten verbiedt.

Kernwapens in Nederland

Uit onderzoek van diverse organisaties en journalisten in de jaren '80 van de vorige eeuw, komt naar voren dat er hoogstwaarschijnlijk op drie militaire bases in Nederland Amerikaanse kernwapens opgeslagen hebben gelegen: Havelte, 't Harde en Volkel. In de huidige situatie bevinden zich alleen op Vliegbasis Volkel nog kernwapens.

In tegenstelling tot het enkele bestaan van Nederlandse kernwapentaken, heeft de Nederlandse regering altijd geweigerd mededelingen te doen over de daadwerkelijke aanwezigheid van kernwapens in Nederland. Kamervragen worden door de Minister van Defensie nog altijd steevast beantwoord met de opmerking dat hierover wegens afspraken in NAVO-verband niets gezegd mag worden.

De kernwapens liggen opgeslagen in zogenaamde WS3-vaults, een soort wapenkluizen in de bodem van F16-hangars, die met een liftsysteem naar boven gehaald kunnen worden. In elke kluis is ruimte voor vier atoombommen, in de meeste gevallen bevatten ze echter twee. De in het algemeen gehanteerde schatting voor het aantal B61-bommen op Volkel gaat er vanuit dat tien van de elf aanwezige WS3-vaults voor opslag in gebruik zijn (de laatste kluis zou bedoeld zijn voor trainingsdoeleinden), elk met twee kernwapens, wat een totaal van twintig bommen maakt.28

De bewaking van en uitvoering van handelingen met de kernwapens wordt primair gedaan door speciale Amerikaanse eenheden. Op Volkel is dit het 703 Munition Support Squadron (703 MUNSS). Het 703 MUNSS maakt onderdeel uit van de 38th Munitions Maintenance Group, die opereert vanaf de Duitse vliegbasis Spangdahlem.

Alle Amerikaanse kernwapens in Europa zijn van het type B61 (mod 3 of mod 4), een tactische vrije val-bom. De kracht van de bom wordt ter plekke ingesteld door een schakelaar op het wapen (het zogenaamde 'dial-a-yield' of DAY-systeem) en kan variëren van 0,3 tot 170 kiloton. En de corrupte en landsverraderlijke 'dames en heren' die zich hebben verkocht aan 't oorlogskartel, hebben bovendien Nederland en de bevoking ook tot doelwit gemaakt bij 't komend kernconflict, nietwaar?

Balkenende moet - met zijn criminele consorten - zélf voor een oorlogsmisdadigers tribunaal komen.

En zij - end alle mediaproleten die dit mogelijkmaken - moeten allemaal levenslange gevangensstraf krijgen voor wat ze miljoenen en nog eens miljoenen mensen hebben aangedaan.

Het zijn stuk voor stuk illegale, moordende lijkenpikkers.

Persoonlijk ben ik tégen de doodstraf, maar mij bekruipt meer en meer de lust om uitznderingen te maken.

Alhoewel: de doodstraf is veel te snel voor deze misdadigers.

Maar 't wordt een genoegen om die rechtszaken te verslaan.

This is a black 'blowback' day for the criminal cartel's war machine, which relies heavily on it's Manas base there. The latest US TIME magazine: "In a March 5 interview with TIME, an Obama Administration senior official said it had been a close call for the U.S. "That we have the Manas base in Kyrgyzstan is a great achievement," he said. "Russia didn't want to allow us to have that. They put down $2 billion to get us out. But Obama had very frank discussions with [Russian President Dmitri] Medvedev.

He said, If you believe we have a common enemy in Afghanistan, then this is going to help us fight that common enemy. Had we lost that, it would have been a major blow. It is a major hub for getting our soldiers in and out of there." - [end quote]*

It's all a battle about power and profit for the war criminals in Central Asia, and Al Jazeera* - which years ago turned into a propaganda broadcaster for the cartel's war machine, justifying more or less the illegal invasions - writes today about the Kyrgyz opposition which 'seizes power' - and because al Jazeera is advocating the cartel - it's written in brackets:

'KYRGYZSTAN AND THE BATTLE FOR CENTRAL ASIA"

Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev was deposed five years after and in the same manner as he came to power, in a bloody uprising. Elected president two months after the so-called Tulip Revolution of 2005 he helped engineer, he was since then head of state of the main transit nation for the U.S. and NATO war in Afghanistan.

The Pentagon secured the Manas Air Base (as of last year known as the Transit Center at Manas) in Kyrgyzstan shortly after its invasion of Afghanistan in October of 2001 and in the interim, according to a U.S. armed forces publication last June, "More than 170,000 coalition personnel passed through the base on their way in or out of Afghanistan, and Manas was the transit point for 5,000 tons of cargo, including spare parts and equipment, uniforms and various items to support personnel and mission needs. "Currently, around 1,000 U.S. troops, along with a few hundred from Spain and France, are assigned to the base." [1]

The White House's Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Holbrooke paid his first visit in his current position to Kyrgyzstan - and the three other former Soviet Central Asian republics which border it, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan - in February and said "35,000 US troops were transiting each month on their way in and out of Afghanistan." [2] At the rate he mentioned, 420,000 troops annually.

The U.S. and NATO also established military bases in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan for the war in South Asia, but on a smaller scale. (U.S. military forces were ordered out of the second country following what the government claimed was a Tulip Revolution-type armed uprising in its province of Andijan less than two months after the Kyrgyz precedent. Germany maintains a base near the Uzbek city of Termez to transit troops and military equipment to Afghanistan's Kunduz province where the bulk of its 4,300 forces is concentrated.)

In February of 2009 the Kyrgyz government announced that it was also evicting U.S. and NATO forces from its country, but relented in June when Washington offered it $60 million to reverse its decision.

Kyrgyzstan borders China.

It not only borders China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, but is only separated from Russia by a single nation, Kazakhstan. To gain an appreciation of Russian and Chinese concerns over hundreds of thousands of U.S. and NATO troops passing through Kyrgyzstan, imagine a comparable amount of Chinese and Russian soldiers regularly passing through Mexico and Guatemala, respectively. For almost nine years and at an accelerating rate.

It is not only a military "hard power" but also a "soft power" threat that the Western role in Kyrgyzstan poses to Russia and China. The nation is a member of the post-Soviet Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) along with Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan - seen by many as the only counterpart to NATO on former Soviet space - and of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) with China, Russia and the three above-mentioned Central Asian nations.

According to U.S. officials, during and after the Tulip Revolution of 2005 not a single U.S. or NATO flight into the Manas Air Base was cancelled or even delayed. But a six-nation CSTO exercise scheduled for days afterward was cancelled.

The uprising and the deposing of standing president Askar Akayev in March of 2005 was the third self-styled "color revolution" in the former Soviet Union in sixteen months, following the Rose Revolution in Georgia in late 2003 and the Orange Revolution in Ukraine in late 2004 and early 2005.

As the Kyrgyz version was underway Western news media were asking the question "Who's next?" Candidates included other former Soviet states like Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Uzbekistan. And Russia. Along with Georgia, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan those nations accounted for ten of the twelve members of the post-Soviet Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

As Agence France-Presse detailed in early April of 2005: "The CIS was founded in December 1991 on the very day the Soviet Union disappeared....But over the past year and a half, three faithful Kremlin allies were toppled in...revolutions: Eduard Shevardnadze in Georgia, Leonid Kuchma in Ukraine, and, last week, Askar Akayev in Kyrgyzstan....Even though Kyrgyzstan’s new interim leaders have vowed to continue their deposed predecessor’s Moscow-friendly policies, the lightning toppling of the government there has spawned speculation that the CIS would soon collapse." The leader of the "color revolution" prototype, Georgia's Mikheil Saakashvili, gloated over the Kyrgyz "regime change," attributing the "brave" actions of the opposition in Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan "to the Georgia factor," and added, "We are not waiting for the development of events, but are doing our best to destroy the empire in the CIS." Shortly after the uprising former Indian diplomat and political analyst M.K. Bhadrakumar wrote of the then seemingly inexorable momentum of "color" revolts in the former Soviet Union: "[A]ll the three countries [Georgia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan] are strategically placed in the post-Soviet space. They comprise Russia's 'near abroad.'

"Washington has been expanding its influence in the arc of former Soviet republics — in the Baltics...the Caucasus, and Central Asia — in recent years with a tenacity that worries Moscow. "Ever since 2003 when Mr. Akayev decided on allowing Russia to establish a full-fledged military base in Kant he knew he was on the American 'watch list.' The political temperature within Kyrgyzstan began to rise.

"The Americans made it clear in many ways that they desired a regime change in Bishkek....The 'revolution' in the Central Asian state of Kyrgyzstan has already thrown up surprises. A comparison with the two earlier 'colour revolutions' in Georgia and Ukraine will be a good starting point. "First, the striking similarities between the three 'revolutions' must be duly noted. All three are meant to signify the unstoppable spread of the fire of liberty lit by the United States in Afghanistan and Iraq in the aftermath of 9/11.

"But behind the rhetoric, the truth is that the U.S. wanted regime change in Georgia, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan because of difficulties with the incumbent leadership. The leaders of all the three countries — Eduard Shevardnadze in Georgia, Leonid Kuchma in Ukraine, and Askar Akayev in Kyrgyzstan — had enjoyed the support of the U.S. during most of their rule. Washington had cited them repeatedly as the beacons of hope for democracy and globalisation in the territories of the former Soviet Union. "Their trouble began when they incrementally began to edge towards a resurgent Russia under Vladimir Putin." [5]

The two Georges - Bush and Soros - were not alone in fathering the "color" geostrategic transformations from the Balkans to the former Soviet Union and the Middle East. March 28th 2010 - Of course this so-called 'healthcare bill' is a hoax, and 'Kaiser Health News' again describes the shortcomings. And of course the big pharmaceutical firms wrote the bill, giving them still more profit. It was, as I wrote, a victory for Big Pharma, and this so called healthcare bill still leaves 23 million people out in the cold with no coverage at all. But paying more and more to the 'haves'...

This is part of what I wrote last March 22nd 2010: "This so called 'health care' is a hoax. It's 'wealth care'! Because contrary to what is said by the propaganda-media, all citizens of the U.S. are now, som 200 years later, obliged to pay premiums to Big Pharma. And most of those - and in reality it's at least fifty million neglected people - even couldn't pay the sky-high premiums for so called 'health care' one way or the other. Now they must, or get a fine... Victory? For whom? Who profits?

So now, thanks to Obama who's the 'front man' for the criminal cartel and the rest of the collaborators in the US, everybody must pay or get a fine. What a 'victory'! How the hell can this the world over be 'sold' as 'an overhaul'? As 'a reform for the better'?

People must wake up more and more to the ugly reality. Know that they are ruled by psychopathic murderers, thieves and robbers. The pharmaceutical firms - which are, and always have been, part and parcel of the criminal cartel - are killing the people which they first make sick, and making a lot of money on it, that's what. WHAT DIDN'T GET INTO THE HEALTHCARE BILL:

KAISER HEALTH NEWS - 28 March 2010 - WASHINGTON - In the year it took Congress to write and pass a healthcare overhaul, turbulent political shifts - including the Democrats' loss of the seat long held by the late Sen. Edward Kennedy and the rise of the tea party movement - forced critical compromises on the scope of legislation.

The downsized ambitions of the final package mean that 32 million more people - not the 37 million in the original proposals - will end up insured by 2019. Others will face greater financial strain than lawmakers originally envisioned.

The political developments are well-known: A group of six Democratic and Republican senators, led by Finance Chairman Max Baucus, D-Mont., failed to forge a bipartisan agreement. Concerns about the federal deficit swelled. Grass-roots conservatives filled congressional town hall meetings in August and helped to propel Republican Scott Brown to victory in Massachusetts. That deprived Democrats of a filibuster-proof Senate majority and transformed them from confident victors of the 2008 elections to nervous incumbents.

Less widely understood are the adjustments the healthcare overhaul legislation underwent from July 2009, when Democratic leaders of the House of Representatives first introduced their ambitious proposal, to this past week, as the House passed the Senate bill and a related package of changes.

Those modifications will have major effects on Americans in years to come:

• The final package will leave 23 million people without coverage, nearly six million more than originally intended.

• Low-income workers receiving subsidies will end up paying more in premiums than they would have under the original House proposal; they also may have to pay more out of pocket on deductibles and co-insurance. However, the final version offers people significant financial protections that they don't have now.

• The final package will experiment with dozens of ways to slow the growth of medical costs, but lacks the most aggressive measures proposed during a year of negotiations.

WHAT PEOPLE WILL PAY

Under the final package, people earning twice the poverty level will have to pay 6.3 percent of their income toward premiums -- 1.3 percentage points more than they would have had to pay under the original House bill. That means a family of four earning $44,100 a year will have to pay $2,778 a year in premiums, $573 more than they would have under the initial House bill.

``There was a political calculation that they could raise this much revenue and have it be palatable politically, but that raising more would be too difficult,'' said Linda Blumberg, a senior fellow at the center-left Urban Institute.

While the original House bill limited out-of-pocket costs to $5,000 for individuals and $10,000 for families, the final version uses the Senate thresholds of $5,950 for individuals and $11,900 for most families. Some families receiving subsidies could end up spending as much as 22 percent of their incomes on healthcare premiums and costs. These financial protections -- as well as the premium subsidies -- will become weaker in future years if medical costs continue to outpace inflation.

Older people who are too young for Medicare -- those in their 50s and early 60s -- will face higher costs than under the House's initial bill, which proposed prohibiting insurers from charging this group more than twice what younger people pay. The final package allows them to charge three times as much. Still, that's much better than the higher premiums some older people face now.

23 MILLION LEFT OUT

Overall, 23 million people will still lack health coverage in 2019, according to the Congressional Budget Office. Many are illegal immigrants who would not have been covered under any version of the legislation. Others will choose to pay a fine rather than buy insurance. The rest will be excused from the mandate because it would cost them more than 8 percent of their incomes.

At the same time that lawmakers scaled back the financial protections for Americans, they also jettisoned several major provisions to control the ever-rising costs of health insurance.

Back in May, when lawmakers were drafting the healthcare bill, economists of differing perspectives told the Senate Finance Committee they agreed on one idea: making employer-sponsored healthcare insurance taxable. Not only would that generate $226 billion a year, the economists argued, but it also would give employers and consumers great incentive to choose cheaper insurance plans, pressuring providers to bring their costs down.

``It is the one thing, if we had been able to get some bipartisanship around it, that could have had a significant effect on cost,'' said James Capretta, who was a top budget official in President George W. Bush's administration and is now at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, a center-right research organization.

Woensdag 24 Maart 2010 - Het hele z.g. 'gezondheidszorg plan' dat nu in de VS 'n (aangevochten) 'wet' is geworden, is één gigantische zwendel. Dat wéten die z.g. 'correspondenten' ook, maar dat zijn geen échte correspondenten meer. Zonder vrijwel enige uitzondering heulen die Judassen met de beulen.*

Dat doet iedereen die ermee te maken heeft, en van dit nietsontziende woekersysteem beter denkt te kunnen worden. Ten koste van wie of wat, dat schijnt er niet meer toe te doen. Bekijk die treurige kreaturen en zie wat voor 'n stelletje liegende en de waarheid vervalsende en verdraaiende propagandisten dat is geworden.

Bijvoorbeeld: in 'n 'analyse' in 't slechte propaganda-blad De Volkskrant, dat zich al heel lang tégen het volk richt, schrijft "onze correspondent Philippe Remarque op 22 maart" onder de kop: "Zorgstelsel heel grote stap voor Amerika." En dat is het ook. Maar die 'hele grote stap' is het illegale schoffelen van nog meer biljoenen dollars naar de rijken, over de lijken en het lijden van arme sloebers die hun ziekenzorg niet kunnen betalen.

Maar nitwit Remarque schrijft, blind voor de feiten als hij is: "Met de overwinning van zondagavond heeft president Obama zichzelf andermaal een plaats in de geschiedenisboeken verzekerd. Dat klopt enigszins, maar wel op 'n andere manier, als men weet dat bij het denkende deel van de mensen - en daar horen veel 'correspondenten' blijkbaar niet bij - stroman Obama inderdaad erin geslaagd is nog meer geld van doodzieke mensen af te troggelen.

Dát zou waarheidsverkrachter Remarque hebben moeten schrijven, maar daar is hij - net zoals 99% van de rest van dat horige tuig - véél te laf voor. Want hij kent de feiten en weet 't wel, maar hij zegt 't niet.

Dat hele verfoeilijke woekerpakket zal in 2014 volledig van kracht worden, als er dan nog iets bij de noodlijdende mensen te halen is. Maar, in tegenstelling tot wat algemeen in de propaganda en door z.g. 'correspondenten' wordt beweerd, dan zijn er nog steeds tussen de 20 en dertig miljoen amerikanen onverzekerd. Plus een extra tweehonderdduizend doden, allemaal mensen die bijna letterlijk doodgezwegen worden, maar die medische zorg niet kunnen betalen.

Het is eerlijk gezegd niet om aan te zien, te horen of te lezen. En vooral niet van die z.g. 'correspondenten' die voor de geschreven propaganda-media en de radio en TV blijven vertellen: "dat nu 'eindelijk' Obama een wet heeft getekend betreffende de algemene gezondheidszorg voor iedereen in de Verenigde Staten." Gelogen en bedrogen!

Daar is absoluut niets van waar.

Hoe zit dat eigenlijk? Die z.g. 'correspondenten' en die propagandisten hebben toch dezelfde Internet-aansluitingen als U en ik? Dezelfde mogelijkheden om informatie verzamelen en te analyseren? Nou dan? En toch worden we de hele tijd door dit stelletje uit hun nek kletsend schorem voorgelogen.

Allemaal onder met mom van 'objectiviteit'. Iets waarvan ze zo te zien nog nooit hebben gehoord. En de feiten blijven ze verdoezelen en ontkennen. Ten bate van wie of wat? Ze zouden zich moeten doodschamen. Letterlijk en figuurlijk!

Als ze zich bij de feiten zouden houden, en niet al die leugens zouden blijven herkauwen, en spuien, dan zouden ze zeggen dat 'stroman' Obama voor z'n baasjes van 't kartel en de grote pharmaceutische industrie, weer een hoop biljoenen heeft binnengehaald en blijft binnehalen. En dat de amerikanen er in doorsnee nog steeds even beroerd aan toe zijn.

Dat woekersysteem is heel lang 'onder de pet' gehouden, maar nu worden door de z.g. zorgverzekeraars - die enkel en alleen voor zichzélf zorgen, en voor niemand anders - de laatste restjes van de botten geschraapt. Daar zijn ze trouwens ook in Nederland mee bezig, maar daar wordt door de propagandisten ook niets onderzocht, over geschreven of aan gedaan.

Die z.g. 'correspondenten' en eenzelfde soort propagandisten en volksverlakkers zou 's eerlijk moeten zijn, en de waarheid spreken. Zeggen dat 't oorlogszuchtige criminele kartel van banken en financiers de hele zwendelrotzooi zélf geschreven heeft, deze onmenselijke wetten en voor 't kartel winstgevende bepalingen. En dat die kreaturen via het gebruikelijke rookgordijn ook nog doen alsof er tussen de 'Republikeinen' en de 'Democraten' ook maar enig verschil zou bestaan.

Die onmenselijke en moordende maar gevoelloze financiers en hun privé-banken zijn ook zogezegd de 'eigenaren' van de leden van het amerikaanse Congres. Die doen altijd precies zoals hun geldschieters zeggen. Een van de weinigen die er geen doekjes om wilde winden was VS Senator Durbin, lid van 't amerikaanse Congres. En nu wordt dus iedereen - die dat eerder ook al niet kon - gedwongen te betalen, op straffe van boete. En worden er 60.000 agenten van de belastingdienst opgeleid (de volledig illegale IRS) om de boetes te gaan innen of de mensen in het gevang te zetten en daar dwangarbeid te laten verrichten.

De VS heeft overigens ook een eigen en winstgevende 'industrie' op dit onmenselijke gebied, en de VS heeft de meeste gevangenen per capita ter wereld. En ze zijn natuurlijk allemaal winstgevend, die bedrijven.

En ook al ben ik niet direct Michael Moore's fan, kijk toch 's naar zijn film SICKO. Zie hoeveel mensen en hele families bij de tienduizenden aan de z.g. gezondheidszorg kapot gaan! Hoe ze door schulden gedwongen er een einde aan maken.

En, nee hoor: die 'correspondenten' zijn allemaal misschien niet zo dom als ze dikwijls eruit zien.

Maar, ze hebben zich met huid en haar verkocht aan hun baasjes, en nu doen ze wat hun gezegd wordt. Dit propagandisten-tuig is niets anders dan verachting waard. En levenslange gevangenisstraf, omdat ze medeplichtig zijn aan globale misdaden die permanent worden begaan tegen de mensheid.

Zelf ben ik gedurende ruim veertig jaar 'n onafhankelijke correspondent geweest in een paar werelddelen en landen. Op hun verzoek werkte ik - toen echte journalistiek nog mogelijk was - niet alleen voor nederlandse media, maar verder ook alle 'groten der aarde' zoals de BBC, STERN, CBS-60" etc.etc.

Ik heb dus goenoeg internationale en nationale ervaring om de treurige gang van zaken te beoordelen.

Conclusie:

Jammer dat er zo weinig eerlijke journalisten over zijn en zichtbaar. Die worden op alle manieren doodgezwegen. Letterlijk en figuurlijk.

Het is een en al 'n verachtelijke groep van propagandisten geworden. Zonder ruggengraad of en zonder enig fatsoen.

Zoals gezegd: ze heulen met de beulen.

Hillary Clinton: the World is to become a NATO Protectorate

Tuesday, February 2, 2010 - "The secretary of state had nothing to say about the condition of human rights, gender equality and so forth in Saudi Arabia and America's other military vassals in the Persian Gulf. Medieval monarchies and hereditary autocracies that host American military bases, buy billions of dollars of advanced weapons from Raytheon, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman and are home to the U.S. 5th Fleet are not subjected to homilies on human rights and "democratic institutions."

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was busy in London and Paris last week advancing the new Euro-Atlantic agenda for the world.

As the top foreign policy official of what her commander-in-chief Barack Obama touted as being the world's sole military superpower on December 10, she is no ordinary foreign minister. Her position is rather some composite of several ones from previous historical epochs: Viceroy, proconsul, imperial nuncio.

When a U.S. secretary of state speaks the world pays heed. Any nation that doesn't will suffer the consequences of that inattention, that disrespect toward the imperatrix mundi.

On January 27 she was in London for a conference on Yemen and the following day she attended the International Conference on Afghanistan in the same city.

Also on the 28th she and two-thirds of her NATO quad counterparts, British Foreign Secretary David Miliband and French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner (along with EU High Representative Catherine Ashton), pronounced a joint verdict on the state of democracy in Nigeria, Britain's former colonial possession.

Afterwards she crossed the English channel and delivered an address called Remarks on the Future of European Security at L'Ecole Militaire in Paris on January 29. That presentation was the most substantive component of her three-day European junket and the only one that dealt mainly with the continent itself, her previous comments relating to what are viewed by the United States and its Western European NATO partners as backwards, "ungovernable" international badlands. That is, the rest of the world.

While in Paris, Clinton held a joint press conference with her counterpart Kouchner and said, "we...discussed the results of the London meetings on Yemen and Afghanistan. We have a lot of work ahead of us. We appreciate greatly the support that France has given in developing a European police force mission to support NATO in its effort to train police.

"We will be consulting even more closely. Our work in Africa is particularly important. I applaud France for resuming diplomatic relations with Rwanda, and I also appreciate greatly the work that Bernard and the government here is doing in Guinea and in other African countries." [1]

Guinea (Conakry) is a former French colony.

Two days before she made a similar joint appearance in London with British Foreign Secretary David Miliband and Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr Abdullah al-Qirbi. Yemen is a former British colony. The conference on that country held on January 27 also included the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Saud Al-Faisal, but not Secretary General Amr Moussa or any other representative of the 22-member Arab League.

Having the foreign minister of the unpopular government in Yemen that the U.S. is waging a covert - and not so covert - war to defend against mass opposition in both the north and south of the nation and the foreign minister of the nation that is bombing villages and killing hundreds of civilians in the north was sufficient for the Barack Obama and Gordon Brown governments. A war on the Arabian peninsula whose three major belligerents are the Yemeni government, Saudi Arabia and the U.S. is not viewed by Washington and London as a matter that 20 other Arab nations need to be consulted about.

Clinton delivered comments on the occasion that were exactly what were required to obscure the real state of affairs in Yemen in furtherance of her nation's military campaign there: "The United States is intensifying security and development efforts with Yemen. We are encouraged by the Government of Yemen’s recent efforts to take action against al-Qaida and against other extremist groups. They have been relentlessly pursuing the terrorists who threaten not only Yemen but the Gulf region and far beyond, here to London and to our country in the United States." [2]

Bombing Shia civilians in the country's north and resorting to the preferred "diplomatic" intervention of the last four American secretaries of state - cruise missiles - in the south in the name of protecting London from Osama bin Laden is yet another illustration of how a nation behaves when it doesn't have a formal diplomatic corps.

In the same breath she added "The Yemeni people deserve the opportunity to determine their own future," when there was nothing further from her mind.

She acknowledged that "a longstanding protest movement continues" in the south and that fighting in the north "has left many thousands dead and more than 200,000 displaced" - without in any manner alluding to Saudi armed assaults in the north and U.S. cruise missile attacks in the south - but her focus remained firmly on "extremists who incite violence and inflict harm." American bombs and missiles, of course, are nonviolent and harmless in the Secretary's us-versus-them view of statecraft.

Clinton didn't miss an opportunity to dress down her nation's client Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh - "This must be a partnership if it is to have a successful outcome" - for his failure to adequately "protect human rights, advance gender equity, build democratic institutions and the rule of law." The U.S. may extend its Afghanistan-Pakistan war into the Arabian Peninsula and the Horn of Africa [3] in nominal support of the Yemeni head of state and his Somali counterpart President Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed, but they and their like - Afghanistan's Hamid Karzai and Pakistan's Asif Ali Zardari - should not for a minute forget who is in charge and who makes the rules.

On the day of the London conference on Afghanistan Clinton, flanked by the foreign ministers of Africa's two former major colonial masters, Britain's David Miliband and France's Bernard Kouchner, also delivered a lecture to the government of Nigeria, ordering it to address "electoral reform, post-amnesty programs in the Niger Delta, economic development, inter-faith discord and transparency." [4]

At the January 28 International Conference on Afghanistan, attended by the foreign ministers of all 28 NATO member states and dozens of NATO partnership underlings with troops in the South Asian war zone - the "international community" as the West defines it - Clinton complemented the Pentagon's allies and satraps:

"I think that what we have seen is a global challenge that is being met with a global response. I especially thank the countries that have committed additional troops, leading with our host country, the United Kingdom, but including Italy, Germany, Romania." [5]

She will need yet more troops in the near future for a far larger conflict than those the U.S. and NATO are currently involved with in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia if the following comments contribute to the results they appear to intend:

"I also had a chance to discuss Iran’s refusal to engage with the international community on its nuclear program. They continue to violate IAEA and Security Council requirements.

"The revelation of Iran’s secret nuclear facility at Qom has raised further questions about Iran’s intentions. And in response to these questions, the Iranian Government has provided a continuous stream of threats to intensify its violation of international nuclear norms. Iran’s approach leaves us with little choice but to work with our partners to apply greater pressure...."

Washington and its main NATO partners Britain, France and Germany along with miscellaneous allies around the world - "rogue" nuclear powers India, Israel and Pakistan among them (who know who to align with and purchase arms from) - dictate the terms on matters ranging from the proper holding of elections to which nation can develop a civilian nuclear power program. Any country outside the "Euro-Atlantic" and "international" communities faces censure, threats, "greater pressure" and ultimately military attack.

The U.S. has a population of 300 million and the European Union of 500 million, combined well under one-eighth that of the world. Yet the two, whose military wing is NATO, hold "international conferences" on Asia, the Middle East and other parts of the world and presume to deliver ultimatums to all other nations.

To cite a recent example, the New York Times reported that "Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton warned China on [January 29] that it would face economic insecurity and diplomatic isolation if it did not sign on to tough new sanctions against Iran for its nuclear program, seeking to raise the pressure on Beijing to fall in line with an American-led campaign." [6] On the same day "The Obama administration notified Congress on Friday of its plans to proceed with five arms sales transactions with Taiwan worth a total of $6.4 billion. The arms deals include 60 Black Hawk helicopters, Patriot interceptor missiles, advanced Harpoon missiles that can be used against land or ship targets and two refurbished minesweepers." [7]

Clinton has joined in the U.S. chorus of hectoring of China since she took up her current post last year, in May even raising the specter of Chinese penetration of Latin America.

China is not Afghanistan or Yemen. It is not even Iran. The last generation's foreign policy hubris and megalomania of the West, epitomized by its wars in Southeast Europe and South Asia and the Middle East, may be headed into far more dangerous territory.

Grandiosity, arrogance and perceived impunity blind those afflicted with them, whether individuals or nations.

No clearer example exists than Secretary Clinton's remarks in Paris on January 29.

To demonstrate the worldview of those she represents - that the United States and Europe are the incontestable metropolises and rulers by right of the planet - early in her address Clinton said "I appreciate the opportunity to discuss a matter of great consequence to the United States, France, and every country on this continent and far beyond the borders: the future of European security." [8]

That is, the U.S. arrogates to itself the prerogative of not only speaking with authority on the security of a continent 3,500 miles away but intervening around the world in its alleged defense.

Flattering her hosts, she further said: "As founding members of the NATO Alliance, our countries have worked side by side for decades to build a strong and secure Europe and to defend and promote democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. And I am delighted that we are working even more closely now that France is fully participating in NATO’s integrated command structure. I thank President Sarkozy for his leadership and look forward to benefiting from the counsel of our French colleagues as together we chart NATO’s future."

Regarding the phrase "to defend and promote democracy, human rights, and the rule of law," evocative of almost identical terms used two days earlier in reference to Yemen, Clinton's Paris speech was fairly overflowing with similar language.

The words recently have been tarnished and debased so thoroughly by the use they have frequently served - justifying war - that they are at risk of deteriorating into not so much noble as suspect abstractions.

Worse yet, they are incantations employed to praise oneself for uniquely possessing them and to castigate others who don't. ["Our work extends beyond Europe as well....European and American voices speak as one to denounce the gross violations of human rights in Iran." But not in Saudi Arabia, Western Sahara, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, post-"independence" Kosovo, Estonia and Latvia, etc.]

Clinton's speech contained these terms and phrases in the following sequence:

democracy, human rights, and the rule of law

unity, partnership, and peace

global progress

reconciliation, cooperation, and community

security and our prosperity

importance of liberty and freedom

peace and security

development, democracy, and human rights

human potential

democratic institutions and the rule of law

progress and stability

democracy and stability

accountable, effective governments

economic and democratic development

expanding opportunity

development and greater stability

defend and promote human rights

peace and opportunity and prosperity

defending and advancing our values in the world

a Europe transformed, secure, democratic, unified and prosperous

The last is a variant of A Europe Whole And Free [9] first employed by President George H.W. Bush in 1989 to inaugurate his putative new world order.

As will be seen by further excerpts from her address (as well as its location and context), Clinton's use of the above expressions was, as noted, both self-congratulatory and in contradistinction to the implied lack of what they pertain to in the world outside of the Euro-Atlantic community and its approved allies elsewhere.

Again taking up the theme of Western superiority and the need for the Euro-Atlantic precedent to be enforced on others, she said "European security is, not only to the individual nations, but to the world. It is, after all, more than a collection of countries linked by history and geography. It is a model for the transformative power of reconciliation, cooperation, and community."

However, "much important work remains unfinished. The transition to democracy is incomplete in parts of Europe and Eurasia." The subjugation of Europe's eastern "hinterlands" will be explored later in relation to her comments on the European Union's Eastern Partnership and related matters.

"The transatlantic partnership has been both a cornerstone of global security and a powerful force for global progress.

"NATO is revising its Strategic Concept to prepare for the alliance’s summit at the end of this year here at (inaudible). I know there’s a lot of thinking going on about strategic threats and how to meet them. Next week, at the Munich Security Conference, leaders from across the continent will address urgent security and foreign policy challenges.

"The United States, too, has also been studying ways to strengthen European security and, therefore our own security, and to extend it to foster security on a global scale."

To elite trans-Atlantic policy makers the above paragraphs' meaning is indisputable: The use of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization military bloc - the true foundation of the "transatlantic partnership" - in waging war in and effectively colonizing the Balkans and in expanding into Eastern Europe, incorporating twelve new nations including former Warsaw Pact members and Soviet republics, is the worldwide paradigm for the West in the 21st century.

That mechanism, using Europe as NATO's springboard for geopolitical aggrandizement in the east and the south, is being applied at the moment against larger adversaries than the bloc has tackled before now:

"European security remains an anchor of U.S. foreign and security policy. A strong Europe is critical to our security and our prosperity. Much of what we hope to accomplish globally depends on working together with Europe....And so we are working with European allies and partners to help bring stability to Afghanistan and try to take on the dangers posed by Iran’s nuclear ambition."

"We have repeatedly called on Russia to honor the terms of its ceasefire agreement with Georgia, and we refuse to recognize Russia’s claims of independence for Abkhazia and South Ossetia. More broadly, we object to any spheres of influence claimed in Europe in which one country seeks to control another’s future. Our security depends upon nations being able to choose their own destiny."

The final sentence is galling beyond endurance, coming as it does from the foreign policy chief of a nation with hundreds of thousands of troops in Afghanistan and Iraq and which with its NATO allies waged war against Yugoslavia and tore the nation apart.

The one preceding it is equally absurd, as Clinton repeatedly insists on the right of the U.S. to be not only a major player on the European continent but the main arbiter of military, security, political, energy and other policies there while denouncing Russia - it didn't need to be named - for alleged designs to establish a "sphere of influence" in neighboring states.

NATO and non-NATO Europe

"Security in Europe must be indivisible. For too long, the public discourse around Europe’s security has been fixed on geographical and political divides. Some have looked at the continent even now and seen Western and Eastern Europe, old and new Europe, NATO and non-NATO Europe, EU and non-EU Europe. The reality is that there are not many Europes; there is only one Europe. And it is a Europe that includes the United States as its partner....We are closer than ever to achieving the goal that has inspired European and American leaders and citizens – not only a Europe transformed, secure, democratic, unified and prosperous, but a Euro-Atlantic alliance that is greater than the sum of its parts...."

For decades, indeed since the end of World War II, American leaders have been "inspired" by a vision of a Europe transformed and unified - under NATO military command and a European Union serving as the civilian, and increasingly military, complement to the Alliance.

"NATO must and will remain open to any country that aspires to become a member and can meet the requirements of membership," even Ukraine where the overwhelming majority of its citizens oppose being pulled into the military bloc. ["We stand with the people of Ukraine as they choose their next elected president in the coming week, an important step in Ukraine’s journey toward democracy, stability, and integration into Europe. And we are devoting ourselves to efforts to resolve enduring conflicts, including in the Caucasus and on Cyprus."]

And should a nation be incorporated into the bloc even against the will of its people, then the U.S. "will maintain an unwavering commitment to the pledge enshrined in Article 5 of the NATO treaty that an attack on one is an attack on all. When France and our other NATO allies invoked Article 5 in the aftermath of the attacks of September 11th, 2001, it was a proclamation to the world that our promise to each other was not rhetorical, but real....And for that, I thank you. And I assure you and all members of NATO that our commitment to Europe’s defense is equally strong.

"As proof of that commitment, we will continue to station American troops in Europe, both to deter attacks and respond quickly if any occur. We are working with our allies to ensure that NATO has the plans it needs for responding to new and evolving contingencies. We are engaged in productive discussions with our European allies about building a new missile defense architecture...."

Washington is uncompromisingly bent on expanding NATO even further along Russia's borders - Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Finland - despite misgivings among some NATO allies in Europe, and will use the Alliance's Article 5 war clause to "protect" those new outposts. It will also drag all of Europe into its worldwide interceptor missile system.

And not against military threats - there is no military threat to any European nation - but against a veritable plethora of phantom pretexts, including so-called cyber and energy security, both of which are subterfuges for the U.S. to intervene against Russia. A host of other ploys for NATO intervention were added, many from NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen's 17-point list of last year [10]: Iran's nuclear program, "confronting North Korea’s defiance of its international obligations," "tackling non-traditional threats such as pandemic disease, cyber warfare, and the trafficking of children" and the "need to be doing even more, such as in missile defense, counternarcotics, and Afghanistan." Anything and everything is grist to the U.S.'s and NATO's mill.

As Clinton put it, "In the 21st century, the spirit of collective defense must also include non-traditional threats. We believe NATO’s new Strategic Concept must address these new threats. Energy security is a particularly pressing priority. Countries vulnerable to energy cut-offs face not only economic consequences but strategic risks as well. And I welcome the recent establishment of the U.S.-EU Energy Council, and we are determined to support Europe in its efforts to diversify its energy supplies."

Diversifying energy supplies is a code phrase for driving Russia and keeping Iran out of oil and natural gas deliveries to Europe. If the tables were turned the U.S. would view - and treat - such a policy as an act of war.

The global expansion of the American agenda in Europe was indicated further in Clinton's remarks that "This partnership is about so much more than strengthening our security. At its core, it is about defending and advancing our values in the world. I think it is particularly critical today that we not only defend those values in the world. I think it is particularly critical today that we not only defend those values, but promote them; that we are not only on defense, but on offense."

And placing the current world situation in historical perspective, she said: "We are continuing the enterprise that we began at the end of the Cold War to expand the zone of democracy and stability. We have worked together this year to complete the effort we started in the 1990s to help bring peace and stability to the Balkans. And we are working closely with the EU to support the six countries that the EU engages through its Eastern Partnership initiative."

The Eastern Partnership is a U.S.-backed European Union program to pull six of twelve former Soviet repiblics that formed the Commonwealth of Independent States into the Western orbit: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. [11] Armenia and Belarus are members with Russia of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, a potential counterbalance to NATO's drive into the former Soviet Union. Along with Serbia and Cyprus, those nations represent the last obstacles to NATO, and behind it the U.S., securing control of all of Europe.

Clinton also had the audacity to raise the issues of the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START) and the Conventional Forces in Europe Treaty (CFE), the first almost two months beyond its December 5 expiration and the other, in its adapted form, not ratified by a single member state of NATO, which - led by the U.S. - is exploiting its suspension for military buildups in new Eastern European nations.

"Two years ago, Russia suspended the implementation of the CFE Treaty, while the United States and our allies continue to do so. The Russia-Georgia war in 2008 was not only a tragedy but has created a further obstacle to moving forward...." The U.S. and NATO have justified their non-ratification of the Adapted Conventional Forces in Europe Treaty by demanding that Russia withdraw a small handful of peacekeepers it maintains in post-conflict zones in Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Transdniester. Had those forces been withdrawn earlier under Western pressure, Georgia's invasion of South Ossetia in 2008, coordinated with an attack on Abkhazia, might have proven successful for its American-trained army.

Part of Clinton's self-serving interpretation of the CFE Treaty is "the right of host countries to consent to stationing foreign troops in their territory." That is, U.S. and NATO and decidedly not Russia troops. There can be no spheres of influence in former Soviet space - except the West's.

Her understanding of an autonomous Europe not "besieged" by Russia and Iran - and North Korea - includes not only stationing American troops on its soil but also nuclear weapons, hundreds of which are still housed in NATO bases in several European countries. "President Obama declared the long-term goal of a world without nuclear weapons. As long as these weapons exist, the United States will maintain a safe, secure, and effective arsenal to deter any adversary, and we will guarantee that defense to our allies.

"[W]e are conducting a comprehensive Nuclear Posture Review to chart a new course that strengthens deterrence and reassurance for the United States and our allies...." Clinton didn't indicate which European nations have requested to be placed under the Pentagon's nuclear shield.

After her presentation Clinton answered questions from the audience at the French Military Academy.

Her extemporaneous comments were even more revealing that her prepared text.

They included:

"When it comes to NATO, I think that greater integration on the European continent provides even more opportunity for the level of cooperation to increase.

"But I think, given the complexity of the world today, closer cooperation and more complementarity between the EU and NATO is in all of our interests to try to forge common policies – economic and development and political and legal on the one hand in the EU, and principally security on the other hand in NATO. But as I said in my remarks, they are no longer separated. It’s hard to say that security is only about what it was when NATO was formed, and the EU has no role to play in security issues."

NATO's new Strategic Concept lays particular emphasis on the advancement - indeed the culmination - of U.S.-EU-NATO global military integration. [12]

Regarding the implementation of that project, Clinton stipulated the issue of energy wars. "[I]t would be the EU’s responsibility to create policies that would provide more independence and protections from intimidation when it comes to energy markets from member nations. But I can also see how in certain cases respecting energy, there may be a role for NATO as well."

When asked about what in recent years has been referred to as Global NATO "extending the boundaries of NATO to non-Western countries, emerging powers like Brazil, India, other democracies that might fulfill their criteria," Clinton advocated a series of expanding partnerships in addition to the Partnership for Peace, Adriatic Charter, Mediterranean Dialogue, Istanbul Cooperation Initiative, Contact Country, Trilateral Afghanistan-Pakistan-NATO Military Commission and others that take in over a third of the nations in the world:

"How do we cooperate across geographic distance with countries in other hemispheres, different geopolitical challenges? And there is a modern living example of that with the NATO ISAF commitment in Afghanistan.

"In many ways, it’s quite remarkable, the success of this alliance. Yesterday at the London conference on Afghanistan, as you know, the United States, under President Obama, has agreed to put 30,000 more troops in Afghanistan. And member nations, NATO and ISAF – the international partners – have come up with a total of 9,000 more troops....

NATO is leading the way, but NATO has to determine in what ways it can cooperate with others. I think that the world that we face of failing states, non-state actors, networks of terrorists, rogue regimes – North Korea being a prime example – really test the international community. And it’s a test we have to pass. Now, there are some who say this is too complicated, it is out of area, it is not our responsibility. But given the nature of the threats we face, I don’t think that’s an adequate response.

"[C]yber security breaches, concerted attacks on networks and countries, are likely to cross borders. We have to know how to defend against them and we have to enlist nations who are likeminded to work with. Similarly, with energy problems, attacks on pipelines, attacks on container ships, attacks on electric grids will have consequences far beyond boundaries. And it won’t just be NATO nations. NATO nations border non-NATO nations."

A small consortium of Western nations, two in North America and 26 in Europe - though most of the latter are nothing more than slavishly subservient junior partners - has appointed itself, for its own interests, the arbiter of world affairs in all matters from judging the political legitimacy of governments to who receives energy supplies from whom to the most urgent question of all, when and against whom wars can be launched. [13]

Clinton's speech in Paris has signaled her country's intention to formalize and extend that role throughout the world in the 21st century.
